Celebrating National Patient Access Week, April 1 – April 7, 2018

Established in 1982, National Patient Access Week is a celebration of the people in the patient access profession. The date marks the anniversary of the National Association of Health Access Management and the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence within the field.  Celebration spans the entire week surrounding the actual anniversary of April 5th.

Patient access caregivers include Admitting & PBX Operators, Day Surgery, and caregivers in the Emergency Department.  Please join us in recognizing these caregivers at all of our hospitals in Northern California: Petaluma Valley Hospital, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Redwood Memorial Hospital, and Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Not only do they represent the first impression becoming the face for the entire facility, but they also serve as the key component in putting every healthcare visit in motion.  It all starts and ends with patient access management.  They truly do pave the road to success for our patients and our facilities.

If you have the opportunity, please thank these caregivers for a job well done.
