On Friday, March 30, Pediatrics Student Volunteers, led by Yesenia Ordaz and Fernanda Prado hosted a huge bake sale in the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital lobby. Helping also with baking and the sale was our long term ED volunteer, Sue Wood. Proceeds from the sale go to the “Kids’ Corner” in Ped’s and totaled $2,140.00!!!! A huge cash donation of $500 was provided by a gentleman who came by and said that our Hospital saved his brother’s life and he was so grateful he wanted to help out. Another hospital visitor came by later and contributed another $100 in cash. Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Strong!
