Thank you so much to everyone who was able to attend, participated with a table, or volunteered. Here are the highlights:
- Over 250 attendees (we surpassed our goal, which was 200)
- 132 raffle tickets for caregivers who visited 10 or more stations and received stamps on their safety passports
- 86 advanced healthcare directives (AHCD) were given out with the intent to complete (attached is the AHCD packet, as it was brought to our attention that some of the copies were missing pages, please feel free to distribute as appropriate)
- 36 Frontline Caregivers were taught how to access Advanced Health Care Directives in Meditech
- 15 individual safety ideas were submitted – more information to come on implementation of the safety ideas received
A Special Thank You to:
– Larry Coomes, Kim Brown Sims, Dr. Herold, and the rest of the Executive Management Team for sponsoring the fair
– Chef Larry, Beth LuPriore and the dietary team for supporting the burrito bar
– Lois Husted for the emergency preparedness/disaster training tent set up outside by the loading dock.
– Table participates interacting with staff, making it fun.
