Covenant Children’s Auxiliary scholarship applications are now available through the month of March, 2018. Interviews will follow in April, 2018 and 10 employees (full or part-time) will be awarded $2,000 scholarships.
The following qualifications must be met:
- Applicant must be a full-time or part-time employee of Covenant Health. Applicant must work in a full-time or part-time capacity while being a scholarship recipient.
- Scholarship monies must be used to pursue an educational course leading to MSN, BSN, RN, or general medical services (lab tech, x-ray tech, or some other health related field).
- Previous applicants may reapply.
- Applicant must submit a Letter of Recommendation from his/her immediate supervisor.
- Applications must be submitted by April 1 of the year in which the scholarship is to be awarded.
- Applicant must be interviewed by the Scholarship Committee.
- Applicant must be an American citizen.
- Applicant must plan to enroll in an educational facility located within the Covenant Health area of West Texas or Eastern New Mexico.
No money will be paid to the recipient. All monies will be paid directly to the school for tuition.
If, after enrollment in a program, and prior to beginning the program, the scholarship recipient discontinues his/her educational program, or employment by Covenant, the scholarship money must be returned to the Auxiliary.
