UC Jan 2020 Update – 2019 in Review

2019 was a pivotal year for urgent care at Providence. Leadership further embraced the importance our care contributes to the greater good of our organization and made the strategic decision to double down – investing significantly in the business of urgent care. We should all be very proud of the work we’ve accomplished together.

 Operating Commitments

Our clinics did an excellent job delivering safe, quality care to patients. November YTD metrics show we far exceeded our goals, achieving “upper bound” in two areas:

  • 6% in low back pain, exceeding our goal (76.02%) by an amazing 18%
  • 4% in bronchitis, exceeding our goal of 31.8%

We are super close to our goal for UTIs, reaching 86.0% November YTD, compared to our goal of 86.5%. We can do this!

Finally, we served more patients than ever before – more than 1.4 million – across our 79 clinics, and achieved more than 100,000 online appointments with Clockwise MD.
