As we set our sights on the year ahead, we start by listening to you. Survey season is coming. As we plan for 2023, the voices of our caregivers are critical to guide decisions and provide the best possible caregiver experience. Soon you’ll be asked to participate in the Caregiver Experience Survey and the Nursing Excellence Survey. Nurse Practitioners may also be asked to participate in the Provider Survey. Your open and honest feedback shows us what we are doing well and where improvement is needed.
Who administers the survey?
The 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey will be administered by Willis Towers Watson, a credible, independent third-party vendor.
Who takes the 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey?
All Registered Nurses across all levels and all settings will receive the 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey invitation, intended for facilities designated or seeking Magnet recognition.
Why did I receive invitations to more than one survey?
Several surveys are happening concurrently. Depending on your role, some caregivers may receive invitations to multiple surveys. Participation in each survey is appreciated.
- All caregivers hired on or before Sept. 11, 2022, will be invited to take the Caregiver Experience Survey. The survey will be open from Oct. 5-19.
- All RNs hired on or before Sept. 11, 2022, will also be invited to take the Nursing Excellence Survey. This survey will be open Oct. 20 – Nov. 3.
- All providers, including physicians and advanced practice providers, are invited to participate in a different, provider-specific survey from Sept. 19-Oct. 31. Nurse practitioners will also receive the 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey invitation.
How will the 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey be conducted?
A link to each online survey will be sent to caregivers’ email addresses from employeesurveysupport@willistowerswatson.com. Each employee will receive a unique link to each survey, so please do not forward the link. The reason each caregiver receives a unique link is to ensure responses are attributed to the correct department and to prevent the accidental submission of duplicate responses.
I haven’t received an email invitation to take the survey. What should I do?
If you do not receive a 2022 Nursing Excellence Survey invitation and believe you should have, please login directly to the 2022 Caregiver Experience Survey and enter your employee ID to gain access or wait for the next reminder. (Note: survey responses are confidential; your employee ID allows the survey software to recognize you as a valid survey participant.)
Who will have access to the individual responses? Are the responses confidential?
We follow best practices to ensure the confidentiality of the responses are never compromised, including accidentally. Individual responses are never reported. Responses are only reported in groups of at least five (5) responses. Core leaders will receive a report for their group only if they have five (5) or more caregivers who respond to the survey (smaller groups’ results are combined into the next level core leader’s results).
