Annual required education, safety training and survey for conflict-of-interest opens March 4

Dear caregivers,

Every year, we all must refresh our knowledge and complete annual integrity, compliance, privacy and security education and workplace safety training we received as part of new caregiver orientation. Everyone in our organization is required to do this.

These educations/trainings are accessible via HealthStream. Please ensure we meet our legal obligations and complete these required modules as soon as possible. These requirements help foster a culture of mutual respect, professionalism and compassion.

Additionally, many of us are asked to complete a conflict-of-interest disclosure survey, another measure to ensure our legal and ethical compliance.

Action required between March 4 – May 10*
Please schedule time on your calendars to complete your assignments. All caregivers have three modules assigned in HealthStream. Some may have additional compliance modules, based on your role. All the required HealthStream modules will be added to your assignments on March 4. You will have until May 10 to complete them.

*Caregivers hired between Jan. 1 and March 4, 2019, will have a due date of April 12. Caregivers hired after March 4 will have 30 days from date-of-hire to complete their education.

Caregivers in certain roles who must complete the conflict-of-interest survey will receive an email directly from PSJH Compliance. If you believe you may have a conflict, but do not receive the email link, please talk with your supervisor and email PHSSystemIntegrity@providence.org for more information or to request a conflict of interest disclosure be sent to you.

I want to thank each of you for helping ensure we reach 100 percent compliance with these initiatives.
