Key dates and reminders for Fidelity transition

Caregivers can now log directly in to their accounts on Fidelity’s NetBenefits website through single sign-on (SSO) from the HR portal. Learn more about single sign-on.

Once on NetBenefits, caregivers can designate a beneficiary (designations will not transfer from Transamerica), enroll, change their investment election or adjust their contribution amount.

Transamerica balances are still in transition and won’t be visible on NetBenefits until the blackout ends later this month. Vesting data will also be visible at the end of the blackout period.

  • Caregivers at St. Joseph Health ministries may call Fidelity the week of April 22 to confirm whether the blackout has ended.
  • Caregivers at Covenant Health ministries may call Fidelity the week of April 29 to confirm whether the blackout has ended.

Note that most assets are transferring to Fidelity “in-kind.” An in-kind transition means that shares of an asset are transferred without liquidating them. In other words, there is no time out of the market because the shares of your funds are transferred directly to Fidelity from Transamerica. Please review the transition brochure or call Fidelity at 800-343-0860 with questions or to confirm which investments cannot move in-kind.

If you aren’t already saving six percent or more, remember to enroll or opt out of automatic enrollment before May 21. (Does not apply to represented caregivers.)
