A message from Chief Quality Officer, Chris Dale, M.D.
I am excited to announce the launch of the NEW 2018 Inpatient Quality Dashboard. This new tool includes comprehensive data about Providence St. Joseph Health system-wide hospital quality priorities that can be drilled down to individual elements, campuses and units.
This tool allows us to look at our performance, both in the outcome metrics that we closely monitor, but also in the process variables that are important to make sure that we provide patients a safe, effective and compassionate hospitalization.
The new Tableau Dashboard is a work-in-progress and is still undergoing improvements. We encourage you to send feedback as we work with our PSJH colleagues to improves the accuracy, timeliness, and content of this new dashboard. We will continue to refine and tweak the dashboard during the coming year, if you have any suggestions, edits or ideas to improve, please email them to quality@swedish.org.
To explain some of the functionality and to assist you initially navigating the application we have provided a brief user guide on Wellspot. More information can also be found in this PowerPoint presentation.
We anticipate a continued evolution of our analytics functionality over the course of the year, so stay tuned!
