Retirement program blackout period begins March 29

The blackout period for the transition from Transamerica to Fidelity begins Thursday, March 29 at 3 p.m. Central.

Details about the blackout period are detailed below and within the Activity Calendar section (pages 4-5) of the transition brochure mailed to your home.

Because you will be unable to view, direct, or diversify your investments during the blackout period, it is important to evaluate your current investments and carefully consider how this blackout period may affect your retirement planning and your overall financial plan.

If you would like to make any changes to your accounts at Transamerica before the start of the blackout period, please go online to stjoe.trsretire.com or by calling Transamerica at 888-976-8098 before the blackout period begins on March 29, 2018.

March 29, 2018 · Deferral and investment election changes will go into blackout for all caregivers.

· Blackout period begins at 3 p.m. Central

March 30, 2018 · New contributions deducted from your paycheck on or after this date will be directed to Fidelity Investments.
April 5, 2018 Last day at Transamerica to:

· Check your account balances or request a loan or distribution.

· Request an exchange between investment options

April 6, 2018 ·  Blackout period ends for contribution and investment elections.

· Log on to NetBenefits.com to set up your username and password and designate beneficiaries for your account.

· Enroll in the plan, adjust your contribution amount, and/or change your investment elections at NetBenefits.com.

· Day 1 of the automatic enrollment window – enroll or opt out by May 21 if you don’t wish to be automatically enrolled at 6 percent.

April 12, 2018 · Your account balance(s) will be valued at the close of the market on Thursday, April 12 and are scheduled to transfer to Fidelity on Friday, April 13.
The week of April 29, 2018 · The blackout period ends. Call Fidelity at 1-800-343-0860 to confirm whether the blackout has ended.
